Mill said premonsoon maintenance scheduled for the runway (09/27 and 14/32) will be conducted between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

It said that during this period, both the main runway (09/27) and the secondary runway (14/32) will be temporary non-operating.

It added that this annual pre-month maintenance is crucial to maintaining the health and longevity of airport aviation infrastructure.

Mir said experts will check the runway surface for wear to address precautions for water supply to ensure safe landing and takeoff during the monsoon season.
