Caste hatred is suspected in Kushaguda murder

Hyderabad:The defendant’s reported caste-based hatred triggered the murder of a 75-year-old woman at the limit of Kushaiguda. The deceased, Kamala Devi, reportedly asked the defendant Krishnapal to do housework.

Krishnapal, from the upper caste family, works in a hardware store on the ground floor of the victim’s residence. The defendant reportedly disliked the victim’s orders him to wander around and feel humiliated. Sources claim that tracking the defendants is technically challenging for the team.

Kamala Devi’s cousin, Sajjan Prakash Chowdary, filed a complaint about the murder. Krishnapal absconded.

According to sources, Krishnapal sent a video to Bengaluru after murdering Kamala Devi, who reported the matter to the police. Sources said video evidence sent to the Lachakoda Police Department showed his direct involvement.

Three were detained after suspected of his two friends being linked to the murder. But when Deccan Chronicle contacted him, Kushaiguda inspector Bhaskar Reddy did not respond to the call.
