Cathay Pacific resumes uninterrupted service from RGIA to Hong Kong and beyond

Hyderabad: Cathay Pacific further strengthens India’s network by resuming its uninterrupted passenger service from Hyderabad. The highly anticipated service runs three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays to ensure seamless travel connections between customers and beyond.
With this recovery, Cathay Pacific is now operating across five Indian cities (Derry, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad) to consolidate its role as a key airline connecting India to Hong Kong, the Indian hub.
Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd., shared his passion for the recovery of this critical route: “We are delighted to welcome back to Cateay Pacific to Hyderabad. Direct flight services between Hyderabad and Hong Kong are an important milestone in our international connectivity.”
This development will promote stronger business relations, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two dynamic regions. In addition, the recovery has introduced valuable abdominal cargo capacity, allowing us to provide more time-limited solutions to the Hyderabad market, especially benefiting from time-sensitive products such as perishables, mail and courier services. ”
“Resuming flights to Hyderabad is an important step in our Indian expansion strategy. Through this recovery, we remain committed to providing Indian travelers with more options, greater connectivity, greater connectivity and world-class service.”
He explained: “Hyderabad’s rising economy and growing demand for outbound travel make it a crucial complement to our network. As we continue to strengthen operations, our focus remains on building connections – bringing people, businesses and the economy closer while strengthening Hong Kong’s position as the leading international aviation hub.”
Resumption of flights from Hyderabad underscores the importance of the Pacific global network of India and Cathay Pacific. This direct service is operated by the airline’s Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which is provided by the business and economic cabin.
Cathay Pacific now operates 39 return passenger flights per week from five destinations in India. By September 1, 2025, this will increase to 43 return flights per week, including 5 flights per week from Hyderabad, two flights from Delhi, 10 flights per week from Mumbai, and daily flights in Bangalore and Chennai.
