CBI arrests two railway officials on graft charges

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested three defendants, including a Senior Department Electrical Engineer (Senior DEE) and a Senior Department Engineer (SSE) for transplant charges.
The subsequent search resulted in approximately Rs 63.85 lakh in cash, gold bars and decorations close to Rs 3.46 crore.
The arrested defendant has been identified as Saket Chand Srivastava, Senior Di (Gen.); tapendra Singh Gurjar, SSE, Division Railway Manager Office (Derry); Gautam Chawla of Vatsal Infotech Private Limited.
Others designated as defendants in the case are Arun Jindal, SSE (Prince of the Tendering Section), Electrical-G Branch, DRM Office; Vatsal Infotech; Shivmani Enterprises and its director Saket Kumar and others.
The bribes involved in the case were Rs 7 lakh to expand favor with private companies.
