CBI Books Hyderabad Bizman, FCI Official

Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has targeted a businessman and a Food Company India (FCI) official in Hyderabad, who allegedly indulged in corruption in the bidding process and payment permits.

The cases have been registered against FCI Assistant General Manager (Mumbai) Srinivasa Rao Mylampalli and Navin Kumar; Laxmi & Co Jinna Srinivas Reddy in Aurangabad, his son Jinna Snehit Reddy and their employee Umamaheswar.

According to CBI officials, Srinivas Reddy in Hyderabad is a partner of Laxmi & Co and owns a private storage unit under the Private Entrepreneur Guarantee (PEG) program. His son Snehit Reddy assisted with his business activities.

They said FCI AGMS Srinivasa Rao and Navin Kumar helped Srinivas Reddy sign a sublease agreement that qualifies him to win the FCI contract in lieu of the so-called undue advantage.

“On February 18 and March 6, Srinivas Reddy asked Navin Kumar to help with the tender. The contractor offered to pay bribes to FCI officials in Mumbai, including AGM Navin Kumar and GM Girish Kumar, to secure both issues.

“On April 21, Srinivas Reddy made a bank guarantee with Prabhu Prem Kumar, UCO bank official at Vijayawada branch. When he told Srinivas Reddy that if no reward letter was issued, he told the bank that the BG could not be issued, he told the bank officials that his plan was a plan to get the reward letter by bribing FCI officials,” the official said. ”

Additionally, FCI GM Girish Kumar summoned Srinivas Reddy to the Mumbai office on April 28, where he completed the alleged deal, sources said through Navin Kumar. Another FCI official, Srinivasa Rao Mylampalli, helped him resolve the awards ceremony.

Srinivas Reddy, representing his employee A. Umamaheshwar, took the road to Mumbai to hand over Rs 2 million in cash to FCI officials, while Snehit Reddy arrived in Mumbai with Rs 5 million in cash to pay FCI officials who participated in the finalizing tender.

After CBI officials were bribed, they arrested traps and arrested FCI officials and businessmen, his son and colleagues.
