“The CBI has conducted FIR against three former senior officials, Chhattisgarh (Chief Secretary, Joint Secretary and Advocate), allegedly trying to influence on the ongoing lawsuit against them by Nargik Apurti Nigam (NAN) and the Enforcement Bureau,” the official said. ”

“The CBI had previously investigated the National Bureau of Economic Crime Investigation, re-registered then-Co-Secretary Anil Tuteja, then retired IAS official Alok Shukla, then retired IAS official Alok Shukla, and then advocated Satish Chandra Verma,” a CBI spokesman said in a statement.

“The search was conducted by the CBI in the premises of two defendant civil servants in two places in Raipur, which led to documents from some criminals,” he said.

The CBI claims that the defendant civil servant abused his formal position to influence on ongoing lawsuits in the Nargik Apurti Nigam (NAN) case registered on its basis in the EOW/ACB, Raipur, Raipur and Law Enforcement Bureau cases in 2015.

“Based on digital evidence captured by the income tax department, the defendant’s civil servants conducted several thwarting lawsuits in the NAN case,” the statement said.

Mr. Tuteja and Mr. Shukla allegedly extended the inappropriate benefits to Verma to inspire him to “perform public duties in an inappropriate manner and ensure expected bail, and in cases discussed by Ed and Eow/Acb, Chhattisgarh.

“In order to seek the expected bail, the defendant civil servant changed documents related to the procedures and departmental work of senior officials of the State Economic Crime Investigation Bureau and brought his reply to the High Court in the NAN case,” the statement said.
