Vijayawada: Ruling YSRC, opposition Telugu Desam and CPM members criticized the negligence of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) authorities including HM Dhyanachandra in addressing public issues related to Vijayawada City.
The VMC committee met on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Mayor Rayana Bhagya Lakshmi. 225 proposals have been put on the agenda.
It is worth noting that all members expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of action by VMC officials, including Dhyanachandra, across all parties, to address citizen issues such as drinking water supply, drainage, sanitation, sanitation and mosquito control.
Although members of TD and YSRC initially opposed the proposed street supplier committee, the Council finally unanimously adopted the proposal. Commissioner Dhyanachandra said that the committee will be developed under the Street Supplier Act, according to the Supreme Court’s guidelines.
Many members noted that residents in hilly areas and suburban areas did not receive adequate water supply.
