Chidambaram expresses doubts about the future of the Indian group

New Delhi: Congress heavyweight P. Chidambaram said on Friday that he was concerned about the future of the Indian group, saying he was unsure if the opposition coalition was still intact. The BJP played the remarks on Chidambaram’s remarks, playing Bjp in Congress, saying even Rahul Gandhi’s close aides knew there was no future for Congress.
Chidambaram said in a book co-authored by Salman Khurshid and Mary Singh Yadav that the situation of the Indian group seemed uncertain.
“The future of (Indian Group (Indian) is not what Mr. Yadav said. He seems to feel that the alliance is still intact, but I’m not sure. I only have Salman (Khurshid) who can answer because he is part of the negotiation team of the Indian Group because the alliance is completely complete. I would be happy if it is completely intact. However, I’m talking about chidamb frayam frayam ”chidamb”
Rajya Sabha MP also said there is still a chance to bring the alliance together. He added: “It can still be put together … and there is still time.”
Chidambaram said the Indian group faces a strong organizational structure in the BJP and needs to respond accordingly. “Based on my experience and history, there is no party organized like the BJP. It’s not just another party. It’s the machine behind the machine, two machines control all the machines in India.”
“From the Election Commission to the lowest police station in the country, they (the BJP) are able to control and sometimes occupy these institutions. This is a powerful mechanism that allows it to be within the scope that a democratic country can allow.”
Kurshid said the Indian group needs to solve internal problems. “We need to solve the problem. The takeaway from Mr Chidambaram’s view is that we have to prepare for a major battle in 2029. We have to deal with the whole idea of how to bring the alliance partners together,” he said.
The BJP said in Chidambaram that the successive failures scarred the Congress. “Chidambaram used the term ‘strong’ six times in a speech that lasted less than three minutes to describe the BJP and its electoral institutions. The successive failures scarred the Congress as Pakistan said in an article on X after the Indian Air Force destroyed its base.
BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla called the Indian group “Tukde-Tukde Alliance”. “The Indian group was formed only out of selfishness. Their model is the ‘kushti-dosti’ model. The left and the Congress will wrestle in Kerala and become friends in Delhi. The TMC and the Congress will wrestle in Bangladesh and become friends in Delhi. It’s not a convenient alliance, but he said.
