Child in Dysart’s terrifying dog is bitten on the face

A toddler was airlifted to the hospital after a dog opened his face at a Queensland home.

After 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, health workers were summoned to a private property in a rural area south of McKay.

A spokesman said the unidentified little girl had a “major tear” on the face behind a dog Herm.

She was in a stable condition and was taken to Daysart Hospital before being airlifted to the University Hospital of Townsville.
