The bridge spans a large canyon of more than three kilometers and is 200 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower and three times heavier than the famous French structure. The project costs £216 million or approximately Rs 22 billion.
Project “Displaying China Project”
“This super project crosses the ‘Earth crack’ and will demonstrate China’s engineering capabilities and enhance Jizu’s goal is to become a world-class tourist destination,” said Chinese politician Zhang Shanglin in a statement.
Shenglin added: “Its steel truss weighs about 22,000 metric tons, equivalent to three Eiffel towers and is installed in just two months.”
The bridge is expected to reduce the current travel time by one hour and only one minute.

“Watching my work becomes tangible, watching the bridge grow every day and end up standing above the canyon gave me a deep sense of accomplishment and pride,” said Li Zhao, chief engineer of the project.
The bridge is also touted by Chinese officials as a major tourist destination.
According to Metro’s report, project authorities have also revealed plans for living areas, glass sidewalks and the world’s “highest bungee jump” .
Most of the world’s tallest bridge
The above-mentioned bridges are coming to China, almost half of the world’s 100 tallest bridges to help connect rural communities.
In 2016, China’s tallest bridge opened in Beipanjiang at a height of 1,854 feet.
