Russian missile lands in Kiev’s Indian pharmaceutical warehouse, claiming Ukraine | World News

The Ukrainian embassy in India claimed on Saturday that Russian missiles hit the warehouse of Kusum, an Indian pharmaceutical company in Kiev, Ukrainian capital. The embassy also accused Moscow of “deliberately” targeting Indian businesses, despite its “special friendship” with New Delhi.
“Today, Russian missiles hit the warehouse of Kusum, an Ukrainian Indian pharmaceutical company. Moscow deliberately targeted Indian businesses while claiming its ‘special friendship’ with India – destroying drugs targeting children and the elderly,” the Ukrainian embassy said in an article in India.
The Indian government has not responded to the allegation. So far, the Russian government has not issued any statement.
British ambassador to Ukraine Martin Harris also said that although he did not name the company, he said drones, not missiles, were used in the attack.
“This morning, Russian drones completely destroyed a major drug warehouse in Kiev, incinerating the medicines needed by the elderly and children. Russia’s terror campaign against Ukrainian civilians continues,” Harris wrote on X.
He also shared a photo showing smoke rising from the building and nearby trains.
Earlier on Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense accused Ukraine of launching five attacks on Russian energy sites in the past 24 hours. Moscow said the attacks violated a broker’s agreement to suspend the crackdown on each other’s energy infrastructure.
Ukraine and Russia have agreed to stop targeting energy facilities last month, but the two sides have since accused each other of violating the deal.
