China says it supports Pakistan in defending “sovereignty”

China said on Tuesday it supports Pakistan in defending “national sovereignty and territorial integrity” after the ceasefire ended four days after fighting India in the deadly attack in Kashmir.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said China welcomes the two countries to “handle differences through dialogue” because he met Pakistan’s Mohamed Isaac Dak in Beijing.
