Bhadrachalam cheers on Grand Rama Navami Fete, CM attends the celestial wedding

Nalgonda: Sri Sita Ramachandraswamy Devasthanam, the celebration of Sri Rama Navami, is undergoing elaborate preparations. The temple, as well as donations, income, health and police departments, will work diligently for Seetharama Kalyanam on April 6 and work hard for Sri Rama Pattabhishekam and Sri Rama Pattabhishekam on April 7.

In anticipation of the celebration, the temple is filled with vibrant lights that enhance its festive aura. Meanwhile, the Mithila Stadium has been transformed into the central venue for key ceremonies. The day wedding of SITA and RAMA is scheduled to be held from 10:30 am to 12.30 pm on April 6, followed by the Pattabhishekam ceremony on April 7.

To ensure the comfort of thousands of devotees, cooling measures were taken at Mithila Stadium, including atomizing machines to cope with the heat of summer. The stadium has been divided into 26 departments, each with LED screens, and with the support of 560 staff, 25 drinking water spots and ample facilities have been arranged (including 162 toilets and 3 mobile devices in 15 locations).

Other regulations include 80 counters to distribute “Talambralu” to devotees. RTC buses and RTC cargo and post office reservations will be available for one kg package. Additionally, a Laddu counter can be accommodated at up to 1,00,000 columns per day to satisfy sweet cravings.

Safety measures are also a top priority. The barricades have been installed along the Godavari River, with 20 swimmers and 15 risk vessels deployed to ensure water safety. The police department is committed to smooth operation during the two-day event and has introduced a QR code system to help devotees easily find parking lots, welfare halls and refreshment counters.

The arrival of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, expected to attend the celestial wedding of Mithila Stadium, has prepared Helipad in Bhadrachalam. The Chief Minister will also attend a unique lunch at the PDS beneficiary residence of Sarakapa, 4.3 km from Bhadrachalam.

Among the predecessors of the main event, Edkolu’s ceremony was held at the temple at 6.30 pm on Saturday.
