Chinese President sends a warm message to Anthony Albanese – despite sending warships to show off his power

Xi Jinping congratulated Anthony Albanese on his re-election – the embarrassing months of Chinese warships as they conducted live exercises in the Tasman Sea and sailed across the country.

After the federal election earlier this month, the Chinese Foreign Ministry had sent a warm message to Mr. Albanys that the People’s Republic is “ready to cooperate with the New Australian Government.”

However, the Chinese president gave his personal congratulations on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Chinese embassy in Australia.

The Chinese president’s message was posted after the People’s Liberation Army Navy left the former Labor government earlier this year and conducted Australian and live exercises.

Mr Albanys says China has not issued enough warnings for live exercises

February – Two months before Mr Albanese’s campaign began – Chinese warships held a 640-km live fire drill on the coast of New South Wales, forcing 49 commercial flights between Australia and New Zealand to change courses.

The Senate estimated hearing came, with the Australian Defence Force authorities first being warned by China, but by a virgin pilot who heard the ship’s radio.

The exercise was conducted in international waters and therefore did not violate international law, but both Mr. Albanese and Defense Minister Richard Marles said China did not give enough warnings.

Ms Brady added that she was worried that the United States had not commented on the exercise.
