Thousands of devotees witnessed the annual car festival of Sanpasalasi Swami Temple on Saturday morning on the seventh day of Chithirai Brahmotsavam.
The idol of Sri Parthasarathy Perumal is accompanied by his spouses Sri Sridevi and Sri Bhoodevi, surrounding the four Mada streets sitting in the tallly decorated colored Temple Cars of Narayana and Govinda and Govinda and Nalayiradivivyaprabhandam.
Devotees from other parts of the city also gathered at the event taking place in one of the 108 Divya Desams in Perumal. The motor streets around the temple are equipped with large kolams.
