Chris Brown’s American musician friend is also accused of GBH of intent to attack London nightclubs as R&B stars are remanded

A Chris Brown musician friend has also been charged with serious physical harm with the aim of attacking alleged nightclubs after the R&B star was taken into custody.

Dallas rapper and producer Omolulu Akinlolu, 38, will appear in court today in February 2023 at the Tape Nightclub in Mayfair, London.

Akinlolu, known as Hoodybaby or Hood Boss, is a close friend of Brown’s who collaborated on tracks including No the Thing, which was released in 2020.

Brown’s upcoming tour was stumbled yesterday after the singer was told she would be detained in the UK next month.

The 36-year-old No Guidance singer will be on the relaxing Bowl XX tour in Europe in Amsterdam on June 8, then performing in Hamburg on June 11 and in Hamburg on June 13.

But the singer was remanded in custody before June 13 before appearing in Manchester Magistrates Court this afternoon, the plans are now questionable.

Greater Manchester police arrested Brown on behalf of Metropolitan Police after taking a private jet to Manchester Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

Brown was detained at the five-star Lowry Hotel in Manchester in early Thursday morning and was charged with being previously detained by police.

Akinlolu is said to have first met Brown while playing basketball in New York as a teenager and later reconnected to Los Angeles.

He reportedly spent five years in part of his entourage writing songs including 2014’s hit loyalty.

It’s a breakthrough story, and more to follow.
