Church attends the annual election of Jesus’ assembly

Hyderabad: The annual run of the Jesus’ assembly, which took place on the day before Easter, will be under the participation of Catholic and New Church congregations in four states. In Hyderabad, the rally will begin at 6 a.m. Saturday at St Mary’s Basilica in Secunderabad, take place through the Tank Bund and end at St George Grammar School in Abids.
Cardinal Poola Anthony, CSI Bishop and Telugu Regional Bishop Committee urged the church to join the event, which aims to openly celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Founder Paul Devapriyam Pulla said: “Thousands of Christians from various denominations, by walking, running or riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, wave their flags and happily declare “Christ is ascending, indeed is Christ, and Christ is ascending! ‘”
The event will end with praise and worship led by local gospel singers, followed by a brief Easter message from senior pastors.
