Continuing the Civil Defence Simulation Exercise in Tamil Nadu, the state government planned such exercises for major reservoirs under the control of the Ministry of Water Resources this week.
The official release of the state government said that officials will initially conduct tabletop exercises, with regional collector/commissioner Greater Chennai Company going to conduct on-site civil defense simulation exercises in certain areas in the second half of this week.
According to the instructions of the Union’s Ministry of the Interior, since May 7, civil defense simulation exercises have been conducted in important facilities such as ports, atomic radio stations, airports and thermal power stations.
It said: “Civil Defense Exercise is just a simulation exercise that allows you to check the preparations in selected important installations.
