A year since Amar Singh Chamkila was released, Diljit Dosanjh, who played the lead role, has brought fans a special surprise.
Actor Singer shared an invisible video on Saturday showing him singing a song with Parineeti Chopra, which was not included in the last part of the film.
The shot appears to have been taken during the shooting, where the two sing in harmony. Together with the video, the actors added titles in Punjabi and English. It reads: “Kai Akhadey filmed the Kitey movie lai .. kush montage type v shooting kitey c @imtiazaliofficial ne ne .. ona vichon ek ek akhadey da scene kai vaar odan hee hee boli boli jande c. @netflix_in,” he added.
Director Imtiaz Ali also shared the video on his Instagram story and said: “This is not used in the movie ::). Parineeti Chopra reposted the video and wrote: “My favorite Akhada.” Completely improvised. Invisible in Chamkila. ”
Hosted by Imtiaz Ali, Amar Singh Chamkila revolves around the unknown true story of the original Punjab rock star. The journey has angered many people, leading to the assassination of the couple. Chamkila is only 27 years old. Diljit Dosanjh plays Chamkila, the best-selling artist of his era. Parineeti Chopra wrote the role of Amarjot Kaur, wife of Amar Singh Chamkila. The film was released on Netflix on April 12 last year.
