National University of Law (NLUS) announced the revised results of the Common Law Admissions Test (CLAT)-2025 under its graduate program on Saturday.
Several students from Karnataka scored more than 99% of the test this year, and most scorers said their goal was to enter the National Law School Indian University (NLSIU) in Bangalore.
Shivaani Joshi won the 19 All India Rankings (AIR) title, and he became the state’s top player with 99.5%. She is a student at the Vydehi Academy of Excellence, Whitefiled, Bengaluru, who earned 87.5% of the II PU in the commercial stream.
Sharing her happiness, Shivaani said: “I started preparing for CLAT in Level 11 and focused on general knowledge in Year 12. I wanted to be a legal professional and I wanted to join NLSIU in Bangalore. With my interests, I have always been passionate about my politics and equality, even though I have been pursuing my parents’ daughters in my childhood.
Kushal Kabra, a student of Sri Kumarans Children’s House on the Mallasandra campus, ranks second in the state and second in all India.
Kushar also hopes to join NLSIU in Bangalore. He also wrote Cuet. “I used to concentrate on studying every day and participated in a lot of test series, which helped me improve my performance,” he said. Both Gemini parents are architects.
Sanchit Sudhir Rau, a student at Hebbal’s Sindh High School, finished third in the state, Air 30. He added: “I want to join NLSIU in Bangalore. I’ve been in the coach and I’m still studying at home.”

Anushka also wants to enter NLSIU in Bangalore. Her father is a software professional and her mother is a home maker. “I’m not a person who studies 24/7, but even if I study for 3 to 4 hours, I focus and consistently learn.”
Aniketan YS, a professional cricketer who represents the under 16 Shivamogga district, ranks seventh in the state and all of India.
“After starting playing cricket, I decided not to pursue science and join the business stream. I decided to take the law because I wanted to work with society, not in the business world.” He also wanted to join NLSIU Bangalore.
Regarding the results of CLAT (graduate students), the consortium said candidates will have to wait until the matter currently being tried in the Delhi High Court.
Candidates can download their official UG CLAT-2025 scorecard by logging into their account on the CLAT 2025 portal on the consortium’s website.
The exam held on December 1, 2024 has caused controversy due to complaints about the problem. The Delhi High Court had a petition and found in December 2024 that the two answers to the Clat-ug 2025 exam were wrong and asked the consortium to modify the results of the petitioner.
Later, the consortium appealed against the previous judgment. On April 23, 2025, the department appealed and ordered certain amendments. On May 7, the Supreme Court revoked the High Court order and directed certain other changes.
On Friday, the NLUS Alliance informed the Supreme Court that they were preparing to release the results of the revised Clat-ug 2025.
