CM Revanth provides financial assistance to cancer patients

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy provides financial support to families affected by cancer to conduct medical treatment. Sirisilla Sai Charan, 35, from Siddipet, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia with blood cancer. He is the only baker for his family, including his wife, two underage daughters and parents.
The family was forced to sell their homes in Ensanpalli, Siddipet Mandal for treatment of Sai Charan. Even so, these funds are not enough to cover the full cost of treatment. The family then contacted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and explained their horrible situation.
Revanth Reddy initially approved a Sai Charan treatment of Rs 5 lakh. With this support, stem cell transplantation was successfully carried out at the Basar Vataraka Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. As treatment requires an additional Rs 7 lakh, the Chief Minister directed the release of the amount through the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF), which is subsequently provided by the officials.
On Wednesday night, Sai Charan and his family met with Revanth Reddy in the Secretariat to show their gratitude. The Chief Minister advised Sai Charan to stay strong and courageous on his journey to recovery.
