CM Revanth to Telangana Bhavan

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday directed officials to take measures in Telangana Bhavan (including the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi) to provide safe transport for students speaking about Telugu, who studied different universities in border countries, in view of the security situation arising in the Indian-Pakistan conflict.
The Indian Armed Forces clarified that there was no ceasefire between India and Pakistan and that Operation Sindor is still underway.
The Chief Minister also directed law enforcement and security agencies to continue their efforts to strengthen safety and prevent any adverse events. He directed senior officials, including the Chief Secretary, to ensure compliance with safety arrangements by closely monitoring routine alerts from the Union’s Ministry of the Interior.
Many people living in the border state of Telangana began to arrive in Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi. According to officials, 126 state residents have arrived in Telangana Bhavan so far. It is worth noting that since midnight, 91 people have arrived in Telangana Bhavan.
There are at least 50 students from NIT Srinagar, students and faculty from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences
Officials arranged 57 vehicles to return to their hometowns. The rest were placed in Telangana Bhawan with ongoing support.
All returnees provide free food, accommodation, medical assistance and transportation facilities for their forward travel. Coordination is being maintained with relevant regional governments and central authorities to ensure seamless movement and safety for all citizens.
Resident Commissioner Dr. Gaurav Uppal reviewed Telangana Bhavan’s arrangements under the direction of the Chief Minister. He oversaw the provisions on food, accommodation, medical assistance and transportation coordinated with Telangana Bhavan staff and made appropriate recommendations. Dr Uppal said that during this period, the government will provide all possible assistance to everyone arriving in Telangana Bhavan.
