CM Revanth’s claim on Guttala land

Hyderabad: In a major development, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy appears to have decided to restore the state government’s claim on land ownership in the main Guttala Begumpet, worth nearly Rs 1 billion.

The former BRS government forgot the state’s claim on land with a controversial real estate company’s demands, and the company has taken hundreds of millions of shares from potential buyers including top-notch merchants.

Rangareddy area collector Amoy Kumar then wrote to the Stamp and Registration Department to remove land from the ban list to facilitate registration with potential buyers.

But after a recent Telangana High Court status quo order on the land, Hydraa prevented some invaders from improving structures and erecting a board of directors on Sunday, warning that invaders would be prosecuted. It also refers to the ongoing case of the High Court Judiciary led by Acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul, who ordered “because there is an attempt to change the status of the subject property.”

Hydraa Commissioner Av Ranganath told Deccan Chronicle: “There has been a recent effort to build structures on the land in the past. Since the High Court ordered the status quo, we have canceled the encroachment to ensure the execution of the order.”

The judge of the division is dealing with a writ appeal filed by the petitioner against a single judge who removed Amoy Kumar’s order. “The state now has a chance to restore its ownership claim as the HC single judge cancels the previous administration’s order to support private parties and leaves it to a designated civil court to decide the title,” a senior tax official noted.

Commissioned by a single judge’s order, the petitioner received a favorable order from Amoy Kumar to appeal to the judge of the branch. According to sources, the petitioners reached a sales agreement with colleagues from the reality company, which in turn collected money from buyers. Sources said some buyers recently received notifications from the income tax department that has conducted raids and has been investigating financial transactions of real-life companies.
