CM says women travel for free from August 15

Kurnur: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the highly anticipated women’s free bus trip plan in Andhra Pradesh will begin on August 15.

AP CM participated in the Swarnandhra – Swachhandhra program in the city of Kurnore, and AP CM dealt with several important topics.

As part of the state’s vision for sustainable development, Chandrababu Naidu said 75 waste-to-energy factories will be built in Andhra Pradesh to convert waste into useful resources. He revealed that policies on the circular economy will be proposed within two months to promote sustainable practices.

The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to health, saying all 15,595 villages in the state will be declared ODF+ (Free Defecation Plus) in March next year. He noted that 6,258 villages have reached this status. Work is underway in the rest of the area.

He said that in the welfare program, the DEEPAM natural gas subsidy program will be reorganized. Once the LP cylinders are delivered to them, the government will deposit the subsidy amount directly into the beneficiary’s account instead of the traditional subsidy.

Chandrababu Naidu announced that it will fill 16,500 faculty positions through the Mega DSC recruitment campaign. The Thalliki Vandanam support program will be implemented through the reopening of schools in the next school year.

He outlined an ambitious plan for the development of the Rayalaseema region. He said the region will be developed as a hub for green energy, industrial growth and sustainable gardening. The government aims to expand its horticultural coverage from the current 1.8 million hectares to 5 million hectares over the next five years.

Rayalaseema will also become a green energy hub and conduct projects in solar, wind and pumped storage, CM said.

He said that underscoring Orvakal’s industrial potential, he is rapidly transforming into a major industrial center, especially in drone manufacturing, providing important employment opportunities for young people. He revealed that the government is working to pave the railway line for Orvakal to support its industrial expansion.

Chandrababu Naidu assured that the drinking water problem of 16 divisions in Kurnool City under the Panyam parliamentary constituency will be resolved soon.

He announced plans to link the Polavaram project with Banakacherla to ensure water supply per acre of farmland in the area. He stressed that Rayalaseema farmers will benefit greatly from these water and irrigation plans.

In terms of agricultural marketing, the Chief Minister pointed out that there are currently 125 Rythu markets in the state. Criticizing the previous administration for neglecting the development of the Rythu bazaar, he promised to establish at least one Rythu Bazaar in each of the 175 parliamentary constituencies. He recalled the launch of Rythu Bazaars in 1999 and the introduction of the mobile market to facilitate farmers.

Chandrababu Naidu said employees will no longer have to work on the third Saturday. He encouraged them to participate in cleaning drives in their surroundings.

CM cited anecdotes from Buddha and his disciples to highlight the importance of repurposing resources, and the state said to the state’s 8.5 million tons of accumulated waste that had been processed 5.5 million tons of accumulated waste. He mentioned that the Waste Management Centre is currently operating in Rajamaha dravam, Vijayawada, Nellor and Kadapa.
