CM Stalin leads to rally expressing solidarity with Indian armed forces

Mr. Stalin, holding the national flag, accompanied by Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, Chief Police Director Shankar Jiwal led the march from the DGP office in Kamaraj Salai to the War Memorial near Fort St. George, which is 4 km away.
Meanwhile, Governor RN Ravi thanked the Chief Minister for the rally to “express the support of the eighty million Tamils of the Tamils”.
Thousands of students, nurses, policemen, former service men, religious leaders and people of all faiths attended the rally and put forward slogans such as “Let us unite and represent the security of the nation for the security of the nation”, “Tamil Nadu will stand with the state’s counter-terrorism and integrity”, “Let us unite and integrity for the security of the nation, let us stand, let us stand, let us stand. People were relieved after India and Pakistan announced the armistice.
Department Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister for Public Works EV Velu, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister PK Sekarbabu, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, and DMK MPs Kanimozhi and Dayanidhi Maran, MDMK leader Vaiko, and TNCC president Selvaperunthagai took part in the rally.
In view of the hot weather, the government has made detailed arrangements for participants. There are more than 200 tents along the rally route, in addition to mobile toilets, chairs, tankers and 10 medical battalions, equipped with life-saving drugs, oral rehydration solutions and 15 ambulances.
Mr. Stalin also paid tribute to the photos of 26 victims of the Pahalgam attack displayed at the War Memorial.
