Mumbai arrived in Dubai in just 2 hours? This new underwater train project connects the two major cities with a maximum speed of… will start…

The train line is expected to carry not only passengers, but also important goods such as crude oil and other commodities, thus helping businesses on both sides.

Imagine a trip from Mumbai to Dubai in just 2 hours – not through the air, but by undersea train. A new large-scale project has been proposed to connect India and the UAE through a 2,000-km underwater railway connection.

According to a report from Travel and Tour World, the high-speed underwater train may run at speeds of 600 km/h to 1000 km/h. Once completed, it reduces travel time between the two major cities to two hours.

The project was proposed by the UAE National Advisory Office Ltd. It aims to provide a new and unique way of travel while also promoting trade between India and the UAE. The train line is expected to carry not only passengers, but also important goods such as crude oil and other commodities, thus helping businesses on both sides.

This ambitious plan will require substantial investment (billions of dollars) to build underwater rail links. Although discussions are still underway, if approved, efforts will be made to complete the project by 2030.

Apart from being a technological marvel, this underwater train promises a fascinating travel experience and can change our perspective on international travel. It also provides a fast, sustainable alternative to flight.

If successful, this could be one of the world’s most advanced transportation systems, bringing India and the UAE even closer than before.
