Complaint said in hotel room that “freeze” sexual assault trial continues

They said she had a voluntary sexual act with McLeod, but she was surprised and overwhelmed when other players entered the room. She told the court she felt she had to go with what was going on and described on “autonomous driving.”
“I just freeze. I don't feel like I can stop it,” she said in an earlier testimony.
McLeod's attorney David Humphrey said they invited other players to join because she wanted to have a “wild night.” Em denied this, saying, “It doesn't sound like what I usually say, I don't remember saying that.”
Humphrey continued: “I suggest that Mr. McLeod ask if you're serious, if that's what you really want, and then you say, 'Yes.' Yes.'” Humphrey also thinks that if she doesn't want to continue, she might leave or tell McLeod that she has a boyfriend. Em admits it is true, but says she feels stressed and finds it difficult to publish at this moment. The case was publicly introduced in 2022, when it revealed that Canadian hockey Canada used registration fees to resolve lawsuits related to the incident, which led to public outrage and widespread criticism of the association.
