Conflict among policemen protesting against Bangladesh teachers; several injured

Police claimed to impose “minimum limits” on teachers, defending their actions against fired teaching and non-teaching staff. Several teachers were injured, and their heads, legs and eyes were hospitalized.
At the same time, the teacher called for a rally and invited people from all walks of life to protest the police’s “excessiveness”.
Last month, the Supreme Court ordered the cancellation of the appointment of 25,752 teaching and non-teaching teachers in cash-staff scams. The appointments in the past ten days have been protesting. “There are 19 police officers in total. We will take legal action against those who cause unrest. We have CCTV videos.” ADG (Law & Order) Javed Shamim said, “The police must take action to bring out Bikash Bhawan’s staff. We have no intention of stopping the teachers’ actions. The police tried to reason with them, but they broke the barricade and literally took over the venue.” However, the protesting teachers objected: “The minimum force of the police officers’ caused serious eye injuries, broken legs and bleeding teachers.” The teachers claimed they were brutally beaten and lath-Charg, many of whom suffered serious injuries.
The teacher claimed there were outsiders, dressed in police officers, disguised as police officers. “We were tortured by someone in police clothes. When we asked them, these people could not show us any identity.” Contrary to the teacher’s claim, Shamim said, “We sympathize with protesters who lost their jobs. We impose the minimum limit. The right to freedom of movement is there.”
