Congress informs Rahul of “derogatory” remarks to former MP Laxman Singh, “damaging” party image

Congress has sent a show notice to former MP Laxman Singh, the younger brother of veteran Digvijaya Singh, who said his “derogatory” remarks “surpass all acceptable restrictions” against senior party leaders, including Rahul Gandhi. It said his remarks had “serious damage” to the party’s “image and dignity”.
On April 25, Laxman Singh attacked the party’s leadership after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. He once said at a mourning meeting: “Rahul Gandhi and Robert Vadra are childish.
The notice was issued on May 9 by Tariq Anwar, member secretary of the Party’s Disciplinary Committee (DAC). It said: “This is to bring you attention to the repeated public statements of your repeated claims by the Chief of Congress Jitu Patwari, General Secretary of Congress of All India (AICC), about your repeated and public statements that these lawsuits have caused serious damage to the image and dignity of the Congress.”

It said: “Further point out that your recent statement has crossed all acceptable restrictions, especially the derogatory and disrespectful remarks against senior party leaders, including the opposition leaders of Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi.”

“You hereby issue a notice of reason for the performance and direct the submission of written statements within 10 days from the date of receipt of the notice.” Singh, a former Lok Sabha member and former MLA, is currently in Congress, and he has served in the BJP in the past. On April 25, he also targeted Jamu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, saying he could “use it with terrorists”. Robert Vadra said that terrorists do not allow Muslims to provide Namaz on the road, not only to be irresponsible, but also poses a threat to the security of the country. I said all of this was said in front of the camera, so no one would be confused. Congress should think 10 times, otherwise the public will answer, otherwise the public will answer in the election. ”

When contacted with a senior congressional leader in the state, he said about the condition of anonymity: “Singh’s days were numbered in the party.”
