Maharashtra Congress leader and former minister Vijay Wadettiwar described the Mangeshkar family as a “predator” on Thursday and has never done any good for society. His critical comments came in the context of the death of the pregnant woman after she was allegedly denied admission at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune.

Tanisha Bhise, wife of BJP MLC Amit Gorkhe’s private secretary, was allegedly denied admission in charity, multi-specialty hospitals, multi-specialty hospitals for not paying a deposit of Rs 1 million. She then gave birth to her twin daughters and died at another medical facility.

“The Mangeshkar family is a stain on humanity. They are a group of predators. Have you heard of them donating for the kindness of society? They are appreciated just because they sing well. People who donate land to hospitals are not treated well. The act of receiving the benefits of charitable hospitals and poor people should stop,” Wadettiwar said. ”

The Mangeshkar family did not immediately comment on the statements of Congress leaders. The Khilare Patil family donated 800 bed hospital land, spreading on 6 acres of land in the Erandwane area of ​​Pune. Founded in 2001, the hospital is named after Marathi Singer and actor Deenanath Mangeshkar, the father of the legendary singer and Bharat Ratna winner Lata Mangeshkar.

The state-appointed committee investigates the death of women, which sued the hospital for violating the norm prohibiting charitable hospitals from demanding advances in emergencies.
