Congress praises Modi Rice: Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad: He claimed that Union Secretary of State Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused the Congressional government of gaining credibility for high-quality rice distributed through fair price stores, which he claimed was provided entirely by the NDA government at the center. “The Congress claims to be providing quality rice to create a drama. In fact, the Modi government has provided this rice with the Midi government under the food security program,” Sanjay told reporters.
He said the centre spends about Rs 1 billion per year in each crop season, which is Rs 200,000 crore per year, in terms of Paddy procurement for farmers. He explained: “In the last Kharif season alone, the centre spent Rs 1.2 crore. The Modi government’s Paddy per boxing is Paddy, covering additional transportation, milling and distribution costs.”
He criticized Congress for asking: “Even if the Modi government costs Rs 37 per kilogram, Congress workers remove the prime minister’s photos from the rationing shop. What are the reasons for opposing the pictures of the leaders? The minister asked the Mandal-level BJP leaders to visit the home and have lunch with the beneficiaries to verify the quality of the rice and understand people’s satisfaction.
Commenting on the latest turmoil at the University of Hyderabad (UOH), Sanjay accused the Congressional government of handling the situation ruthlessly. He asked: “They resort to students and even cut down trees. This action has aroused public anger. The government must unconditionally release all arrested students.”
He also claimed that Congress and the BRS competed to appease the target. He accused: “They stood on the same platform in Chennai on the issue of demarcation and the WAKF Board of Directors amendments.
In another development, Sanjay wrote to TTD Chairman Br Naidu urging the temple construction to begin immediately in Karimnagar and a groundbreaking ceremony was held on 10 acres of land two years ago. “People in Karimnagar and the nearby areas are eagerly awaiting the construction of the temple,” he said.
Earlier in the day, he paid tribute to Babu Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary in the BJP office. He claimed that the Congress party had betrayed Dr. Br Ambedkar and Jagjivan Ram. “Babu Jagjivan Ram should be Prime Minister after Indira Gandhi, but Congress denied his chances. They even insulted the Ambedkar of Parliament,” he averaged.
