Congress will continue to ask questions to the government: Venugopal

Congress Secretary General (Organization) KC Venugopal said the country should take into account the recent terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, but Congress will continue to raise questions to the government. He spoke at the climax of the Samvidhan Bachao rally held by the Congress party on Sunday.
In his speech, Mr Venugopal said: “Fifteen days after the attack, India is awaiting Narendra Modi's actions.
Regarding the coalition government's decision to include caste enumeration in the next national census, he said it was a victory for Congress and its leader, Rahul Gandhi, who have been increasing demand for the past five years.
“In the past, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said those demanding caste census were of the city Naxars. Now, they have met the demand. However, it remains to be seen whether the caste census will also be the fate of women booking bills without any action in the past two years. We need to take appropriate time.
He said the laws now made in the country by Nagpur’s “brain”. This is the result of the latest legislation such as the WAQF Amendment Act. The BJP is trying to target and isolate the Muslim community while injecting poison into the hearts of Hindus. He said Congress will support all the religions under attack.
