Congressional firms raise controversial slogans at GHMC protest against Pahalgam terror law

A slogan has attracted welcome at a rally held in Delhi in support of the CAA&NRC and raised protests in protests against the Pahalgam terrorist attacks. Shoban Reddy et al.

Sitting in the GHMC headquarters and working to arrange seating arrangements for protests, several of which also participated in the protests along with newly appointed GHMC specialist RV Karnan.

Near 5 p.m., all officials and staff gathered at the site and paid tribute to the killed citizens by observing the two-minute silence.

The slogan was used in the 2019 “Tiranga March” organized by Mr Mishra, and at an election rally held by former Union Minister Anurag Thakur.

Some reports linked the slogan to the riots in Delhi that led to bloodshed, arson and murder in 2020. Congressional leaders then condemned the slogan, saying it was provocative and offensive.

The protests held at the GHMC have secured Ms. Vijayalakshmi's full support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in any counter-terrorism operation. She said that terrorist attacks are for humanity, peace and social well-being command doom.
