Congressional government full of differences: BJP

Hyderabad: BJP Legislative Party leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of deliberately delaying cabinet expansion by creating obstacles and provoking rival groups for fear that it would weaken his holdings of the ministry.

In media interactions, Maheshwar Reddy claims this encouragement of groupism has been delayed for a year and a half. He also claimed that Congressional High Command is reportedly considering replacing the chief minister. He further claimed that senior Congress leaders assured the current minister of leadership changes after elections in local institutions.

BJLP leaders claim that two senior ministers in Revanth Reddy’s cabinet have regularly reported sensitive issues to the senior Congress command, such as the dispute at the University of Hyderabad, the Hydraa and Musi Cleaning projects, future urban developments and Kodangalal land defense.

Maheshwar Reddy claimed that Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka had serious differences. He averaged that while Revanth Reddy warned the state of bankruptcy financial situation and the inability to obtain a new loan, Bhatti Vikramarka did not publicly support him. Maheshwar Reddy claims that Revanth Reddy is reportedly willing to take financial emergency measures to address the impact of previous BRS government policies, but other ministers are concerned about public opposition and are reluctant to support such moves.
