CONM will hold AICC meeting at Sabarmati Bank; unveil future roadmap

Internal Communications of the Secretary-General of Congress Jairam Ramesh said on Tuesday that the frontline negotiations and resolutions on social, political and economic justice in the preamble of the Constitution will reflect the agenda of the Congress related to them.
Ramesh said a resolution on Gujarat was discussed at the CWC meeting and another on national issues would be accepted for adoption at the AICC meeting on Wednesday.
All AICC members will first assemble the flag hoist, and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will raise the flag together with members of the CWC extension. The president will deliver a presidential speech and then submit the resolution to discuss.
During the meeting, Congress Director Sonia Gandhi and former Party Chief Rahul Gandhi will also speak at the party.
The ending ceremony will be held around 5.30 pm.
This is the second day after an extended Congressional Working Committee (CWC) meets here to finalize the agenda and discuss the resolution to be adopted.
Congress on Tuesday expressed his claims to the legacy of India’s first deputy prime minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who promised to follow a “ideological war” with the BJP-RSS, when a loud campaign against the BJP was cited by nationalist figures in support of the rally.
In a resolution “The Flagbearer of the Freedom Movement – Our ‘sardar’ Vallabhbhai Patel,” Congress passed the extended CWC, whose top leadership gathered on the lands of Ahmedabad, Mahatma Gandhi and Patel, giving India a new direction.
Congress highlighted Patel’s contribution to the freedom struggle, accusing the BJP of trying to usurp his legacy under a “well-planned conspiracy.”
