Mr. Sibar also requested a special session of the parliament and asserted that he was confident that if Manmohan Singh was prime minister today, he would attend the party-wide meeting and a special session would also be called.

Sibal spoke at a press conference, referring to President Donald Trump’s latest social media post on cessation of military hostilities, and the U.S. president said he was proud that the United States could help make this “historic and heroic decision.”

“Many questions will also be raised in this tweet. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that over the past 48 hours, the talks continued. So, what happened, how and why, did not provide us with information about this information. They also said that the neutral live meeting. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also said with NSA AJIT DOWAL.”

“We will not send any criticism today because it is not the time for criticism. We only want to hold a special parliamentary meeting and a full-scale meeting. I would like to call on all political parties not to attend the meeting until the government assures them that the Prime Minister will also attend the meeting.”

“I am confident that if Dr. Manmohan Singh serves as prime minister today, he will attend the party-wide meeting and will also hold a special meeting,” said independent Rajya Sabha MP.

He said members of Congress couldn’t wait until the monsoon meeting got details about what had happened in recent days.

Mr Sibar said he did not like it when Prime Minister Modi did not attend a full-party meeting held after the Pahargam terrorist attack.

“Maybe he (Modi) thinks the election in Bihar is more important. He also went to Bollywood in Kerala and he thinks whenever something like this happens, no matter what happens in Manipur, he doesn’t have to go there.”

The former Congress leader praised the armed forces for providing appropriate responses to Pakistan. He said the country’s voice claims to be sufficient and should give Pakistan a reply.

His remarks came after an understanding reached between India and Pakistan on Saturday, halting all firing and military operations on land, air and oceans, and immediately took effect after four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes.
