The Delhi court accepted a closure report from the Law Enforcement Bureau (ED) on Monday, a money laundering case against Suresh Kalmadi, former head of the 2010 Commonwealth Games organization, followed by Secretary-General Lalit Bhanot, among others.

Congress responded to the development of the court, which claimed the case was “never about justice” and accused the BJP of “weapon lies.”

Reports of corruption in the 2010 Commonwealth Games (CWG) have caused a huge political uproar in the country, leading to the filing of several criminal and money laundering cases, including the current ones. Mr. Kalmadi and others were accused of awarding and executing the ruling and enforcement of two important contracts.

The BJP has launched a major anti-corruption campaign against Manmohan Singh government and the Delhi government led by Sheila Dikshit.

However, on Monday, the special judge of Ruth Avenue Court (PC Act) Sanjeev Agaarwal said in the investigation that prosecutors failed to file a crime under relevant sections of the PMLA. [Prevention of Money Laundering Act]therefore, no crime or crime was committed.

The court said: “Despite the careful investigation by ED, no crime was committed.

It further pointed out that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has ended the corruption case, and ED began a money laundering investigation based on the case.

Acceptance of closed reports puts the money laundering angle in the so-called scam to end the scam that happened 15 years ago.

In a video statement, senior parliamentary leader Pawan Khera claimed that the BJP and AAM AADMI Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal are aimed at very capable former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and former Delhi chief minister Shiela Dikshit to rule.

“Their lies are now exposed,” Mr Khera said, adding, “Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi ji should seek forgiveness from Dr. Singh’s family, Congress and all of us. Similarly, Arvind Kejriwal should apologize to Sheila Dikshit’s family, Congress, all of us,” Mr Kera said.
