CPI Secretary of State Muppalla Nageswara Rao accused BJP of resorting to various practices. This, he claimed, mainly uses religion as a political weapon to gain power.

Mr. Nageswara Rao was the chief guest in the 25th “Maha Sabhalu” of Visakhapatnam District on Sunday.

He said that by demarcating wedges between regional parties, the BJP will also take power in addition to using religion as a political weapon. The same strategy won’t work every time, he said, because people may not vote based on religion every time.

The BJP came to power in 2014 due to corruption and scams from the Congressional government. It began to take office in subsequent elections, saying it would double the income of farmers, provide work twice a year, pile up black money in foreign banks and deposit it into the accounts of people of Rs 1.5 lakh. “However, as of the date, no promises were implemented.”

“After taking office for the second time, the BJP has been focusing on the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant,” he said.

BJP won 420 Lok Sabha seats and took office for the third time, but was unable to get the seats it needed to form the government.

He said the left supported the UPA-1 government from the outside and tried its best to operate the government correctly, so the government gained a good reputation. In UPA-2, then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh did not consider the leftist view and supported a nuclear deal with the United States, he said. The deal goes against the country’s interests. In this case, the left made a motion of distrust against the UPA-2 allocation, which was made. He said the motion of distrust was lost due to Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati.

“The efforts left-wing have not been fruitful for the third alternative that the BJP and Congress have made,” he said.

CPI senior leader Palleti Polaiah raised the party’s flag. Partisan regional secretary M. Payiraju and 162 representatives from the entire region attended the party’s party secretary M. Payiraju.
