CPI(M) requires disclosure of details of the land allocated to IT companies

India – The Marxist Communist Party [CPI(M)] The government has been asked to immediately revoke the decision (if any) to the Ursa cluster.
CPI (M) State Council V. Srinivasa Rao said in a statement Monday (April 21) that there were reports that a company called Ursa Clusters, an IT company with an “ignorant background” had allocated 60 acres of land in Visakhapatnam. If it is true, the decision must be immediately revoked, he said.
The land allocation to IT companies must be handled with transparency and all facts must be disclosed. Just a few days ago, the government announced that it would sell 21 acres of land to TCS. TCS will reportedly continue operations from the leased buildings until construction on the land.
However, there has not been an official announcement regarding the allocation of land to URSA. The government must publicly clarify whether this is true. “The government must explain how to provide 60 acres of land for free for a new company without history or experience,” he said, adding: “The CPI(M) opposes giving valuable land with the excuse of promoting the IT industry. ”
The government didn’t even catch these companies in exchange for land. The land sold for Rs 0.99 instead of lease, it was actually a donation. This also violates the government’s own P4 regulations. Therefore, CPI(M) requires that these free allocations be cancelled immediately and that the land is legally leased to IT companies. He added that it also urged action against companies that failed to stick to the lease agreement.
