Nainar Nagendran submits paper on BJP TN presidential election

Chennai: BJP lawmakers in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli constituency, Nainar Nagendran, submitted nomination documents, filed in Friday’s state presidential election. Nagendran is currently the state vice president and previously served at AIADMK. He was the first aspiring man to arrive at Kamalalayam, the BJP state headquarters in T Nagar, and submitted his nomination. The party said his name was proposed by current party head K Annamalai, Union Minister Murugan, former Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan, and BJP legislator and Mahila Morcha President Vanathi Srinivasan. Nagendran may be declared the new state president Annamalai.
