Danny and Anais met for the first time during the coronavirus pandemic in London and have been together for five years.
The couple made their first public release in Romance at the UK Awards ceremony in 2021, when Danny revealed that Anais had already received the seal of recognition from her mother.
He said: “We actually live in the same area of London and we have been hanging out mostly at home until now. My mom loves her and they gave her a lot of tea.

“I’ve come back from a big drink party during Christmas in Ireland and I just said “enough”. I want to face the sad stone sober because if you don’t, it’s kicking in the street.
‘January is a big thing for me – I gave up drinking, smoking, caffeine, all the good stuff…I will only do it before January, but we are in May now and I feel better than ever.

Since Mark’s death, Danny said they have “retired these three pieces” and the band has recruited two new members to make it four.
He said Danny and Mark have been friends for nearly 30 years and have written their songs together as he touchedly adds that guitarists live through music.
He said: “What is our legacy? I don’t have children, so it’s my music for me, but for him it’s his children and family, and everything he did for Irish music.
“He is a talented lyricist and we will never fill his shoes. Why should we try?
