DC Editor | Ensure a truce and protect citizens living in border areas

A strong ceasefire is crucial for India to begin focusing on normal life to stabilize its economic growth and to take care of the welfare of all people, including those living in vulnerable border areas. Given Pakistan’s humorous record, this stability should not be taken for granted. India was unable to put down its guard when neighbors’ armed forces might be eager to retaliate against their airspace and decisively invaded and suffered an important part of the air force infrastructure.

India has made its point of view through its military operations first targeting terrorist factories and then at its air base in Pakistan, as hostilities escalate, state policies to terrorism have become a strong response without border restrictions. The armed forces also clarified that during the operation, when India’s naval assets (such as deterrence) were deployed, Pakistan’s nuclear assets were not targeted and would never be concerned about unimaginable escalations.

Moving forward from alleged successful operations, part of the Indians must be affected by the exchange of UAV machine-free gun operations. People, especially those living in the Punjab border areas, and those who are more severely affected in the Jamu & Kashmir (Rajouri-Poonch) and Jamu departments, must be resettled as soon as possible. There should be some guarantee that their lives will not be disturbed every time they may never give up terror as a means of national policy.

India should not be distracted by the debate over promoting ceasefire negotiations – it is clear that Pakistan’s DGMO has launched a hotline call for his Indian counterpart. Recognizing that countries that help brokers peace by helping them with good faith advice in peace will not cause any harm.

There is no need to allow any mediator to imagine the Kashmir issue, which could be the basic bone of the basic debate touted by Pakistan obsessed with partition history, which will appear at the dining table for negotiation. If anything, as informally stated, the status of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir would be a convenient opposite that India could use in any dialogue and diplomatic plans here.

Looking ahead, India’s economic growth is more important and can be improved through the country’s strategic autonomy, which gives it an independent position in global geopolitics, while it maintains the status of various multilateral Fora in various powers, including both sides of the political divide. The country’s largest trading partner is also the world’s leading economy, and India must seek to take advantage of this in a world that might well remember that this is not a war era and that people have the opportunity to improve their lives in a lasting peace.

The Prime Minister’s first statement about a conflict that only occurs after the dust settles may not help reveal the way the ceasefire is. Apart from the details of the weapons and operation of SOPs in modern warfare, India has nothing to hide, as it is primarily a victim of Pakistan-funded terrorism. India has articulated its response to terrorist incidents. But now that the truce is already there, it is time to turn to what can be done for people’s lives and livelihoods.
