Part of Telangana predicts rain on Sunday; 41°C -44°C can be recorded in 13 northern regions

This Sunday (April 20, 2025), half of Telangana may be accompanied by thunderstorms. The Indian Meteorological Ministry predicted weather conditions in 16 regions. Although most of the state is expected to see rainfall, temperatures in the 13 northern regions are expected to range from 41°C to 44°C.
The 16 districts which may receive thunderstorms are Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri and Nagarkurnool.
13 regions from 41°C to 44°C are expected to be recorded. It is Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Manchedrial, Jagtial, Nizamabad, Pedapalli, Jayashanakar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Rajanna Sircilla, Kamareddy and Medak.
On Friday (18 April 2025), the highest temperature recorded in the city was 38.6°C despite heavy rains. The maximum temperature in Nizamabad is 42.6, followed by 41.3°C in Adilabad and 40.2°C in Medak.
