Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said Islamabad was ready to “package” the tensions between the two countries if “India retreated”.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Wednesday that Pakistan is ready to “end” India's tensions with India.

His remarks came hours after India launched a military attack on Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Bloomberg TV reported that Asif said Pakistan would only respond when attacked.

“We have been saying for the last two weeks that we will never be hostile to India. But if we are attacked, we will respond. If India backs back, we will definitely end this tension.”

Regarding the possibility of negotiations, the minister said he was not aware of any such potential involvement.

Indian armed forces conducted missile strikes on nine terrorist targets in Pakistan earlier on Wednesday and attacked Pahargam terrorist attacks for Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
