Delhi Airport issues travel consultation in the Indian-Pakistan war; several airlines urge to arrive at the airport 3 hours before flight | Mobile News

New Delhi: Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Delhi Airport has sent special travel consultations for passengers to avoid any similar panic. The consultation was successfully thwarted by India’s air defense system after Pakistan’s air attacks on Jamu and several military stations near the western border.

Travelers’ official consultation meeting read: “The operations of Delhi Airport remain normal. Some flights have been affected due to changes in airspace conditions and increased safety. Please contact your airline for the latest updates. We urge everyone to rely solely on official resources and avoid sharing of unverified information. We work closely with all stakeholders to minimize any inconvenience.”

Meanwhile, several airlines including Air India, Qiusa, Indigo and Spicejet have also announced passenger arrivals for 3 hours as tensions in India-Pakistan rise.

In an article on social media platform X, Air India said: “In view of the Civil Aviation Safety Agency’s order on airport enhancements, passengers across India are advised to arrive at their respective airports at least three hours before booking a departure to ensure check-in and boarding. Check-in and boarding. 75 minutes before the start of check-in.”

Attempt strikes involving drones and missiles triggered power outages and sirens in several areas of Jamu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan. Authorities urge residents to stay indoors and stay alert as emergency protocols are activated. India reportedly took retaliatory action after the attack.

Earlier in the day, domestic airlines canceled about 430 flights on Thursday, nearly 3% of the country’s scheduled flights as 27 airports closed until May 10.

The affected airports include Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda, Halwara, Pathankot, Bhuntar, Shimla, Gaggal, Dharamsala, Kishangarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Mundra, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Kandla, Keshod, Bhuj, Gwalior and Hindon.
