Delhi Airport Operations Stay Normal, India-Pakistan Travel Consultation

Due to operational reasons, Notam will take effect from May 9, 2025 to May 14, 2025 (equivalent to the IST on May 15, 2025).

Amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said on Sunday that operations at Delhi Airport are underway.

“Operation at Delhi Airport continues to go smoothly. However, given the CASA’s growing airspace dynamics and enhanced safety protocols, flight schedules may be adjusted and longer waiting times are made at safety checkpoints,” the airport said in its latest travel consultation.

Airport operators sent inquiries to passengers, which included “updating through the communication channels of their respective airlines. Comply with prescribed cabin and check-in luggage guidelines. The list of 32 airports include Adhampur, Ambala, Amritsar, Awantipur, Bathinda, Bhuj, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Halwara, Hindon, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kandla, Kangra (Gaggal), Keshod, Kishangarh, Kullu Manali (Bhuntar), Leh, Ludhiana, Mundra, Naliya, Pathankot, Patiala, Porbandar, Rajkot (Hirasar), Sarsawa, Sarsawa, Shimla, Srinagar, Thoise and Uttarlai.

Sources told ANI that in the early hours of Saturday, four air bases in Pakistan were attacked by Indian strikes as tensions continued to escalate between the two countries. India launched a retaliatory strike immediately after Pakistan attacked 26 locations in India.

Intermittent shooting is still taking place in multiple places along the control line. (ANI)
