Delhi News: The Delhi government, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, announced that the minimum wage rate for workers in all categories is increased. These new rates will apply from April 1, 2025. The monthly salary for unskilled workers is now Rs 18,456, while graduates and above-qualified workers will receive Rs 24,356 per month. The government said the increase has kept inflation in mind, which will provide economic relief to workers. Earlier, the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Gupta also approved the continuation of four categories of existing power subsidies: domestic consumers, farmers, lawyers with Chambers and victims of the 1984 anti-Sixiksh riot.
