Delhi court convenes 10 TMC leaders, including Derek O’Brien, Sagarika Ghosh in April 2024 ECI protests

The Ruth Street Court in Delhi issued a subpoena on Monday to several members of Congress, including members of the Parliament, which is linked to a protest outside the headquarters of the Election Commission of India (ECI) on April 8, 2024.

The summoned included the famous TMC MP Derek O’Brien, Mohd. Nadimul Haque, Dola Sen and Saket Gokhle and party leaders Sagarika Ghosh, Vivek Gupta, Arpita Ghosh, Dr. Santanu Sen, Abir Ranjan Bishwas and Sudip Raha.

According to the news agency, the case is now scheduled to be reviewed on April 30, 2025 on April 30, 2025, when all the summoned persons are expected to appear in court.
