Delhi High Court denies bail for PFI leaders by improving health conditions

The Delhi High Court denied Ismail’s temporary bail as it was charged in a terror case, noting that he was performing progress. Justices of Prasad and Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar said the latest report from the AIIMS Medical Board showed that his condition would not worsen if temporary bail was not granted.

The court added in the May 13 order: “In addition, the latest medical report from the AIIMS Medical Board shows that the appellant’s condition does not allow the appellant to fail to grant the appellant temporary bail, which will worsen.”
The court directed prison authorities to continue receiving treatment, including doctors’ regulations, including regular physical therapy and continuous monitoring of Ismail’s blood pressure arrested on September 22, 2022.

Prison authorities were further asked to bring him to AIIMS once a month to monitor his condition.
