Delhi weather will soon break the 40°C mark, while Chennai’s Bangalore receives rainfall; check IMD predictions here

The National Weather Service predicts that Delhi will get hotter in the coming days and expects to violate the 40°C mark. On the other hand, Chennai, Bengaluru, will receive rainfall in the coming days.

A Metropolitan official said the national capital recorded the highest temperature of the season at 39 degrees Celsius on April 3, above normal. According to the Ministry of Meteorology, the second highest temperature of the season was recorded on March 26, when mercury was exposed to 38.9 degrees Celsius.
The Metropolitan Office said the minimum temperature of capital was 15.6 degrees Celsius, three levels below normal levels.
IMD said the humidity levels during the day fluctuate between 41% and 22%.
Although the IMD predicts that there is no relief in the national capital, Bangalore and Chennai will receive rainfall in the coming days, helping to lower temperatures.
